This is a basic protein-smoothie type recipe that I've been making literally NIGHTLY the past 2 weeks. It's super convienient because I can even fit it on my low-carb days.
Sooo what seperates this from the other basic smoothies...
I use Xanthan Gum in mine! You're probably thinking.. what the heck is that? Yeah, that's what I thought. I even bought it and let it sit in my cabinet for a few months before I thought, maybe I should try this. Xanthan Gum is a clear powder that works as a natural thickening agent and basically has no taste. It is commonly used in salad dressings, ice cream, and is vegan.

How do I make this smoothie bowl??
1 Scoop of PeScience Protein (Gourmet Vanilla defintley is my favorite for this)
1 serving of Creamy Artic Zero (60g) Maple Vanilla tastes best with the vanilla protein, but in these pictures I used a combonation of Salted Caramel and Brownie Bite (which was the chuncky flavor opposed to just the creamy one)
Add a little water and almond milk (I usually don't measure out how much I use I just will add until it is thick enough for my liking)
Blend up
Then I will add some sprinkles and the Xanthan Gum (I'll add about a tsp or so but I will add more if it is not thick enough)
Blend again until it is of a consistency that you like! (It usually is around the thickness of soft serve ice cream)
What toppings did I add you may ask...
1 Lenny & Larry's Double Chocolate Cookie #amazing (heat up in microwave for 15 seconds and break onto the top of the smoothie)
Of course add a little more sprinkles!
1/2 Tbsp of Hank's Peanut Butter Snickerdoodle Flavor (can be purchased at Olympic Sport and Nutrition or Anytime Fitness in Coventry)

Enjoy :)
