My April Favorites!

1. Go Nuts, Co. Protein Peanut Butter

My boss actually recommended this peanut butter to me since I am such a PB fanatic. At first when I tried it I was unsure how I felt about it but honestly the more I have it, the more I love it. I would not consider this PB a spread but its not as chunky as the PB that has pieces of peanuts in it. It's perfect for toppings or even just to scoop out of the jar... oops. I got this from Olympic Health and Nutrition which is on Bald Hill Road in Warwick. They have tons of other products there and I would highly recommend checking them out!

2. Smart Choice Protein

I orded these products at the beginning of the month just to try them and see how I liked them. They sell cookies, muffins, and donuts that are high in protein and low in carbs and fat. They are super delicious and I found are perfect for an added topping for my every-day meals such as my morning protein waffle or oatmeal. If you aren't going to eat them right away you have to stick them in the freezer so that they stay fresh. I have to say my favorite of the three might be the muffin!

The macros for the products:

Cookie: 8F, 10C, 10P

Muffin: 4F, 8C, 10P

Donut: 2F, 12C, 10P

3. PeScience Gourmet Vanilla Protein Powder

Sooo this isn't my first run in with PeScience Protein but I finally decided I was going to see what all the fuss was about with the gourmet vanilla flavor. (I previously have tried Snickerdoodle, Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup, and Blondie.. all so good as well) Gourmet vanilla easily is now considered my new favorite flavor of this brand of protein. I highly reccomend this protein especially if you're going to incorporate it into food recipies or smoothies. The reason it works so well is because it is a whey/casein blend which tends to bake and mix better. I order the products from the PeScience website and I also use their BCAA'S and Ergonine.

4. Bolthouse Salad Dressing

This product is a yogurt based salad dressing but tastes exactly like it should (if that makes any sense..) It completely saves me on my macros and I can use a full serving size opposed to only being able to use 1/4 or half a serving size of a normal salad dressing. I recently just bought the Caesar Parmigian flavor (at Stop and Shop) and it tastes just like regular Caesar dressing. I haven't tried any of the other flavors yet but I have heard good reviews.

I included a picture of the back of so you can try and see the macros but if you can't it is....

2.5F, 3C, 2P for 1 serving which is 30 grams or 2tbsp!

5. Sprinkled Donut Crunch Cereal

Well I don't know about anyone else but I love cereal and on top of that I recently have a random obsession/ love for donuts ((and all my friends can attest to that)). Nothing more to say about this cereal than that it's a nice sugary treat to curb a sweet tooth! I usually will put about a serving or half a serving on top of my waffle or my arctic zero at night.
